Assertion Analysis #9

Martin Luther King felt that no upcoming leaders would care about the rights for African American so he decided to step up himself and establish himself as a political leader. African American culture has been changed while white people think of it as changing blacks into their culture, and they think of it as destroying their culture and pride. The negroes efforts to change and fight for their pride is plummeting towards the ground. America has not paid attention towards blacks and their problems, such as economics. As a result, negroes were willing to cause uproars and riots.

Martin Luther King uses lots of rhetoric devices in his speech, one of them was
aepetition. He uses the term "Negros" in his speech to promote the idea that negros are the ones being targeted. If you were the reader or audience seeing a term using repeatedly you would know that it is a serious deal in that situation. By using repetition in the speech, Martin Luther King was able that emphasize the meaning of the speech.
